Day 137: Friday 27th August 2010

Had a brilliant day today, took an extended lunch break to go see Scott Pilgrim Vs The World at the cinema with Antony and then this evening I went for dinner and drinks for a friends birthday! Good times.

Tried to take pictures of my outfit/hair, but I suck at taking pictures of myself! Here are the outtakes...

I love packages :) Today I got a rather nice spotty one from Topshop full of sparkly new bikini's for my holiday!! Off to Turkey on the 6th September with my man and his family- cannot wait to get some sun!

Tonight my sister came over for a girly night in! Being a very talented hairdresser too she coloured my hair! Got some blond bits put in ready for sunny holiday in a couple of weeks :o

A whole week of writing for me this week! Got myself some time off from shopkeeping :) Tonight I went over to see Antony and ate lotsa Pizza!! NOM.

Was at a bit of a loss as to what to do today- never normally have Sundays off! So in the end me and the parents headed to Richmond for a lovely afternoon by the river :)

I have the weekend off work!! Wahooo! Today was a thoroughly relaxing day at home catching up with blogging, reading magazines and watching rubbish TV. Fab.

Day 130: Friday 20th August 2010

Watched a lot of new music talent show 'Must be the Music' tonight- and it was actually bloody good! Instead of simply looking for someone that can hold a note, they are actively looking for a talented musician, be that a singer/songwriter, pianist, rapper, band- anyone with originality and talent. Felt quite refreshing.

Visited my mum's charity shop during my lunch though and found loads of beauties (will be posting about all of them later over at Style Limbo), My fave bit was probably this locket...

Day 127: Tuesday 17th August 2010

My day was thoroughly productive today. First I worked, (yawn), then I took Mr. Gingerbread Man on a lil trip...



First he headed to India and rode an elephant!



He then visited Thailand and walked with tigers at the Tiger Temple...



Then he got bored of animals and skipped over to Africa where he proceeded to try chatting up this local woman...



But then her Ninja boyfriend turned up...



Finally, after wondering the earth alone and full of sugar, he finally found a friend for life and fellow freak... Wall-E.

Went for an evening out with my parents tonight! Went for a yummy dinner and then saw Toystory 3! GREAT FILM. Ken is my Idol. Here's a dodgy pic on my I=phone of where we ate...

Day off! woop didi woop! Much fun was had this evening by myself and my friends Zoe and Rochelle, went out for a much needed drink and a dance :)

Happy Friday the 13th everyone! 13 has always been kinda a lucky number in our family, so wasn't bothered by its presence. Went to see the beautiful man tonight and proceeded to take a picture of shadows because I have officially run out of things to snap in his room!

Day 119: Sunday 8th August 2010

First of all- HAPPY BIRTHDAY FI! (One of my good friends who has been featured in here a couple of times :)

My picture today is not of the beautiful Fi however, she was busy having a brilliant surfing weekend in Devon! I had to work and spent the evening with ma man. I took a pic of his geetar and collection of comics/mags. The Rolling Stones mag from the 70's with Fleetwood Mac on the cover you see there was a present from me! Love it.

DAY OFF! I know, I get far too excited about this every week, but hey. Went for a lovely lunch with two friends and now I'm just gonna chill the f*** out for the rest of the afternoon. Took a pic of my new skirt because its the first fashionable treat I've given myself for months and it made me happy :)

Worked from home all day today. Was in a bit of a blah mood if I'm honest, but then I saw this gem in my old bedroom and it cheered me up. Bring back overly colourful 80's body warmers!

RIGHT, so today I went over to Antony's for the evening after work and...um... kinda forgot me camera. So politely asked my dad if he would take a snap for me! I know it's cheating... oh well :)

Another day another dollar. Or is it another dollar another day? Either way this week looks like this- work, get changed into uniform, different work, come home, get changed into baggy jeans, work some more, sleep. Then I wake up and do it all over again! All worth it though...

In other news I took a picture of some flowers today! My mum always has a fresh bunch knocking around.

Day 112: Sunday 1st August 2010

Got home from work today to find the typewriter of my dreams! I had a dream ages ago about a pale blue vintage typewriter, but it cost £50,000 so even in my dreams I couldn't get what I want! But my lovely sister walked passed a charity shop (in real life!) and saw one in the window for a measly £25! So she kindly picked it up for me- proof that dreams do come true. OH YES.
