Day 170: Wednesday 29th September 2010

Today I was lucky enough to spend a whole day with my lovely boyfriend! We ate Italian for lunch, relaxed with a movie after and then celebrated his friends recent engagement with steak and wine in the evening- perfection.

My picture is of his beautiful cat Suzie...Suzy...(however you spell it), this cat is so flippin cute and has taken quite a shine to me :) she's my second favourite cat in the world, after my puss cat Saffy of course...

Today I tried out a top-knot hair style. Personally I think it resembles a birds nest...but I kinda like that ;)

Day 168: Monday 27th September 2010

Today I got a little bit inspired to write and so jotted some bits down in my new very pretty suede notebook from Turkey- love it :)

Day 167: Sunday 26th September 2010

The nights are drawing in and there's a chill in the air! Autumn has officially arrived and I'm celebrating this with pictures of our fire and the pretty flowers next to it. I Have been lucky enough to enjoy lots of sunshine this year, (a month of it in Thailand, a few weeks here in the UK and one glorious week in Turkey), so I think I'm OK with some chilly weather heading my way.

Day 166: Saturday 25th September 2010

Lovely day off for me! Went into town to pick out some new glasses and met my friend Emily for a quick frappacino :)

It's started getting really damn cold though! Had to bust out my parka and scarf today! Hello Autumn.

Today I met a friendly chocolate...



But he began to bore me- showing off with his shimmery gold wrapping and posh accent. so I ate him.

Day 162: Tuesday 21st September 2010

Today was my first day back to shop-keeping duties! Still suffering from post-holiday blues so was very excited to see my boyfriend at the end of the day who took me out for a lovely meal :) My picture today is of some giant cotton reels that are currently residing in the House of Fraser window displays! Want one, they're cool....

Day 161: Monday 20th September 2010

First day back to work today (boo) and sadly it wasn't a great start. Won't go into details, but have been feeling quite low today and lets just say I was very excited to finish work, curl up in bed after a relaxing bath and watch silly TV shows like The Inbetweeners :)

First of all a massive Happy Birthday to my good friend Paul! Looking forward to seeing him and other friends in London this weekend :)



My day was full of errands before I return to work next week (boo). Went to the opticians and dentist today and discovered that health costs! Expensive day, but productive none the less. Here's a snap of my to-do list...

Day 156: Wednesday 15th September 2010

Went to Godalming this evening for a night out with my sister :) Lots of fun was had. Before we set off I took a quick pic of some of her gorgeous necklaces....

Day 154: Moday 13th September 2010

Back to the UK and back to reality today! A long day of travelling called for an early night and an unpacked suitcase.



Had a brilliant time with Antony and his family, couldn't have asked for a nicer break. Have returned tanned, full of Turkish meat and relaxed. Mission accomplished then :)

Day 153: Sunday 12th September 2010

Last day in Turkey :( We finished off our trip in style with a perfect dinner by the river, just me, Antony and the sunset. Beeyootiful.

Day 152: Saturday 11th September 2010

Today was a lil bit special as it was Antony's sister's birthday! Nicola was treated to a champagne and cake fuelled breakfast by her lovely boyfriend Richard. Whilst those two celebrated with a trip to the beautiful ruins located near us, me and Antony headed back to Turtle beach to check out the turtle sanctuary where they look after sick turtles.

and lil baby turtles!



We then all went for a surprise meal by the river. The table was covered in balloons, flowers and, er, tinsel (of course). Amazing meal complete with a cake and special singing by the staff. Another picture perfect evening, failed by my rubbish camera *sigh*

Day 151: Friday 10th September 2010

Today was another chilled day where we relaxed by the pool and went into town for more yummy Turkish food. Couldn't help taking a snap of this presentation of authentic Turkish food...complete with the country's favourite gravy of course....

Day 150: Thursday 9th September 2010

With Antony not feeling 100% we decided today would be best spent doing sweet F.A so we spent our time sunbathing, dipping in the pool and admiring the views. Does it get any better than that?

Day 149: Wednesday 8th September 2010

Sadly Antony was quite ill last night, but determined not to let it get him down he dragged me, his sister and her partner onto a boat for a day of organised sea fishing. We had a friendly captain who showed us what to do whilst simultaneously acting as a competent wasp killer :)

I caught one fishy and a few crabs, all of which were RELATIVELY large! The captain then barbecued our catch for a yummy seafood dinner. Really lovely day peppered with naps on the edge of the boat.

Day 148: Tuesday 7th September 2010

Today me and Antony took a 40 minute boat ride down the river to see Turtle Beach! Gorgeous beach and home of lots of turtles. Tonight Antony cooked a lovely pasta meal for me and his family as we had a low key evening at the villa.

Day 147: Monday 6th September 2010

We're here! Villa is beautiful, and oddly enough located next to a farm! So we have lots of animal company from goats and chickens hehe. Me and Antony took a stroll around town and got a lovely lunch by the river. In the evening we all headed into town for our first Turkish dinner. Yes I had donner meat- rude not to really.

First picture is of some white sheets blowing in the wind. I'm not gonna lie- I haven't taken a huge amount of photo's this week, I went against my gut feeling and left my fancy camera at home in favour of a crappy old one which takes rubbish photo's... but is small enough to take everywhere.

Day 145: Saturday 4th September 2010

This may be my last post until next week, our flight to Turkey leaves at a horrendous time Monday morning (like 2AM) so probably won't get the chance to update this again before we go. But when I get back I'll be updating it with all my sunny shots from Holiday :)

Today I took a pic of the carpet with sun ray's dancing a-top! I did it in black and white and think it looks more like a sky to me.

Yeah. More interesting pics to come next week. Don't worry.

Bank holiday Monday! And sadly- work for me :( However, I did get the chance to write today, wrote another short story for Cellardoor Magazine which made me very happy. I always forget how much I love writing short stories :)
